Some ideas to use photo masks
Hello there! Here’s some ideas to use photo masks! I’ve noticed that most of my customers use them just to clip pictures on them, mainly to create digital scrapbooking layouts. I love that and that’s what they are basically designed for, but there are also other ways you can use them and make the most of your digital supplies.
You can use them as clipping masks.
Think about clipping masks as the digital version of a paper punch. Once you applied the clipping mask, your photo will take the shape of the photo mask like the layout shown below. If you are not familiar with clipping masks you can find a tutorial here
Use them as clipart element
Just as you use any other clipart! You can recolor or clip a texture to the photo mask to match your project and then just add a text on top. This is a journaling piece I made for a digital scrapbooking layout. This tutorial here will give you an idea of how you can recolor or apply a pattern texture to these clipping masks
Use them as focal point
Because my clipping masks are really full of detail, they are perfect to help you create a focal point. They will look great on greeting cards, wedding invitations and baby announcements.
If you are interested, you can get the photo masks I used to make these samples here or get other similar designs from my Etsy Shop here.
Thanks for looking and happy crafting!!
